About DrinkCheck
Our story
DrinkCheck was born from a deeply personal concern. When we — Fernando and Valentin, co-founders of parahealth — witnessed drink-spiking incidents affecting people in our own friend circles, we knew we had to act. With our established experience running parahealth.de, one of Germany’s largest online medical-device retailers, we had both the connections and the expertise to create a solution.
In 2024, alongside our dedicated Brand Manager Nastassia, we launched DrinkCheck with a clear mission: to become the world’s leading drink-spiking detection solution.
The problem we’re addressing
Drink-spiking represents an invisible threat in social environments worldwide. Whether at bars, clubs or private parties, the risk of having drinks contaminated with substances like GHB, ketamine, cocaine or scopolamine remains a serious concern. These incidents endanger personal safety and rob people of their autonomy and peace of mind during what should be enjoyable social experiences.
Our solution
DrinkCheck offers a simple yet powerful tool: individually packaged test strips that detect common drink-spiking substances in seconds. Our compact design fits discreetly in a wallet, purse or even behind a phone case — making safety accessible whenever and wherever you need it.
Each test is:

Looking forward
Our vision for DrinkCheck extends far beyond our current reach. From our base in Westerkappeln, Germany, we’re expanding globally through Amazon marketplaces in the US, UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, France and Ireland, with distribution partnerships including Shop Apotheke and other major retailers.

Operations and customer support are based in Westerkappeln, Germany. We are not affiliated with drinkcheck.com or any other company sharing a similar name; the official domains are getdrinkcheck.com (English-speaking markets) and drinkcheck.de (Germany).
